Three weeks ago I wrote that my awards seem to be experiencing arithmetic growth. Well, I’m happy to report that this is still more or less true. In fact, I’m slightly ahead of my projected growth rate: earlier this week we learned that we’ve been funded by the NSF for $260,000 over 3 years.

Project title: Curriculum Development: Digital Libraries

Project purpose? Well, curriculum development for digital libraries, obviously. Or, more accurately, for education about digital libraries. See the SILS news release.

I’m not actually PI on this one; that honor goes to Barbara Wildemuth and Ed Fox. It’s a joint project between SILS and the Virginia Tech Department of Computer Science.

Of course, to keep up this rate of arithmetic growth, funding agencies would have to start falling on me from a great height, since I have no more proposals out there to be funded at the moment. Good thing, too — I’m not sure how I’ll manage to do all the stuff I already have to do! Thank goodness for graduate students.
